Driven by a relentless pursuit of recognition as a major global gaming hub, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is establishing a new regulatory framework for online gambling.
The UAE established the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) in 2023 to oversee the technologically-focused sector, and things have moved on swiftly since then.
