Who would’ve thought a health inspector could be a detective?
Vince Vaughn trades in suits for swim trunks in the new Apple TV+ series, Bad Monkey. He plays Andrew Yancy, a former Miami cop who’s now stuck inspecting restaurants in the sunny Florida Keys. Sounds like a dream job, right? Well, until a severed human arm washes up on the beach, that is.
Suddenly, our man Yancy is back in the game, sniffing out clues instead of kitchen grime. He’s got a colorful cast of characters to help (or hinder) him, including a bunch of quirky Floridians and a particularly troublesome monkey.
The show is a mix of comedy and crime, with plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing. It’s like Fargo meets The Big Lebowski, with a side of tropical sunshine.
